ALICIA ALARCÓN was born in Jocotepec, Jalisco, Mexico. Her parents moved their large family to Mexicali, on the border of the United States, to provide a better living for their children. She has been a journalist for La Opinión, Univisión, and CNN Radio in Los Angeles. She currently hosts a program on Radio Unica 1580 AM in Los Angeles.
